Sudan 2025

The book (450 pages) aims to draw milestones on the road towards achieving a system of change and strategies which both the country and its citizens deserve. This is in aid of, and for the benefit of, the comprehensive national project. It gives an opportunity for the conclusions of the author to be subject to readers’ scrutiny. Moreover, it provides a background which allows for more efficient ideas and visions which are subject to discussions, investigations and scientific research.

The author Professor Kamil Idris, says that the importance and relevance of the book are due to 10 proven issues. These are: documentation of the national march; inventory of the resources of Sudan; planned strategies to transform future dreams into reality; agreement on governance systems; the human being is the centre of sustainable development and the real investment. Moreover, as the author personally participated in the formulation of achieving the Millenium Goals for Development, as presented and sponsored by the UN, which advocated social justice as the safety value. Lastly, a national project to identify positive brand to symbolise overcoming negative image of the Sudan; the country’s identity as a full collective drive; and benefiting from the lessons and experiences from the nations for guidance in the development of efficient structures, implementation, coordination and follow-up of good plans.
